Billing

GitVertex bills per workspace:

  • Personal workspaces are free and single-member.
  • Team workspaces are billed per seat through Stripe.
  • New team workspaces start with a 14-day Pro trial.
  • Enterprise is handled through sales rather than self-serve checkout.

How team billing works

  • Billing is scoped to a workspace, not to your whole account.
  • Seats map to billable workspace members.
  • GitVertex currently supports one connected GitHub or GitLab source per workspace.
  • Team workspaces use the same product surface you already see in the app. Billing controls mainly decide how the shared workspace is purchased and managed.

Trial behavior

When you create a new team workspace, GitVertex starts a 14-day Pro trial for that workspace.

At the end of the trial you can:

  • stay on Pro,
  • switch the workspace to Plus, or
  • talk to sales about Enterprise if you need a managed buying process.

Billing intervals

Paid plans can be billed monthly or annually. Annual billing saves 20% compared to monthly.

See Managing subscriptions for how changes are handled in the app and in Stripe.

Taxes

GitVertex uses Stripe for billing. Applicable taxes are calculated automatically based on your billing address. You can add a tax ID to your subscription for invoicing purposes.
