GitVertex can notify you about PR activity through email digests and Slack, so you don't have to keep checking the console.

Email digests

Receive scheduled email summaries of PR activity and team events. Digests can be configured as daily or weekly, always include both Needs Attention and Team Updates, and are skipped automatically when there is no content to send.

Slack notifications

Route repository and PR events to Slack channels in team workspaces, including merge-ready pings from workspace automations.

Slack notifications are managed from workspace settings.

Per-user preferences

Notification preferences are configured per user, not per workspace. Each person can choose their own digest schedule.

To configure your notification preferences:

1. Go to Settings → Notifications.
2. Enable or disable daily and weekly digests.
3. Choose the delivery time.

What you can control

• Digest types — Enable daily digests, weekly digests, or both.
• Delivery timing — Choose the hour and day of week for digest delivery.
• Automatic content — Digests always include Needs Attention and Team Updates.
• Automatic skipping — GitVertex skips digest delivery when there is no activity to report.

Your digest time zone is managed separately from Settings → Profile.
